Wade Crum founded Pass It On Soccer three years ago when he could not find an organization dedicated to providing soccer equipment to those who need it. The sixteen year old has donated equipment to numerous organizations around Arizona such as RSL-AZ Soccer Closet, the refugee soccer club, and Premier Rising.
FC Tucson, Pass It On, Refugee Services of Texas, and the FC Dallas Foundation banded together earlier this year to bring soccer equipment to Afghanistan refugees.
Refugee Services of Texas hosted a Refugee Soccer Festival on September 23 and received gear for the tournament from these donations. The participants were able to keep the soccer gear that they used during the event. All left over equipment was donated to other children in the area
FC Tucson collected donations from attendees at every home game during the 2021 season, which have then been distributed to the those in the community and around the country. President Amanda Powers and the club look forward to continuing the initiative next season.
