SEVERANCE, Colo. — Louis Perez had a goal and an assist and Franco Perez notched his first goal of the season as FC Tucson broke back into the win column with a 2-1 victory over Northern Colorado Hailstrom Wednesday evening at Severance High School.
Louis Perez recorded his third goal of the season with the eventual game-winner in the 70th minute with a perfectly placed shot that froze the Northern Colorado goalkeeper.

Louis Perez also assisted in the 14th minute on Franco Perez’s opening goal. It was Louis’ team-leading sixth assist of the season and the first goal for the Argentinian striker.

Northern Colorado (6-8-8, 26 points) got one back in the 80th minute, but the FC Tucson defense held fast despite being outshot 18-6.
The win improved FC Tucson to 4-10-4 (16 points).
