FC Tucson ended its 2021 season by hosting an awards ceremony at Charro Del Rey, the official caterer of the USL League One club.
Five awards were given out to players, recognizing their work on and off the field. Two awards were given to front office staff to spotlight their work and dedication throughout the historic season.

Newcomer of the Year
Luca Mastrantonio earns the Newcomer of the Year honors this season. He played a vital role in defense this season with 61 clearances, ten blocks and winning 69 of his total 112 duels.
Mastrantonio also grabbed his first professional goal this season after heading in a cross from Dennis against Fort Lauderdale CF on September 11. He finished the season with two goals.
Mastrantonio was also a staple in the community, appearing at events throughout the season such as Tucson Meet Yourself, Desert View High School and various clinics.
Newcomer of the Year
Luca Mastrantonio earns the Newcomer of the Year honors this season. He played a vital role in defense this season with 61 clearances, ten blocks and winning 69 of his total 112 duels.

Noah Franke earns the honors of Defensive MVP for the 2021 season. Franke was a staple in defense this season with 28 appearances and 2,456 total minutes played, the most of any outfield player.
Franke had 21 chances created, four assists and 82 percent passing accuracy this season. He also racked up 49 interceptions, 32 clearances and won 33 of his total 46 tackles this season.
Franke was honored by the league with two appearances on the USL League One Team of the Week presented by Cleer Audio.

Dennis lead the team with ten goals, eight assists and 45 chances created. He also had 18 shots on goal and a 78 percent passing accuracy.
Dennis was a staple in the midfield guiding the team to its best finish in the league. He was honored by the league by appearing on the USL League One Team of the Week presented by Cleer Audio eight times.

Fox captained the team from the backline, leading the team to its been finish in USL League One history. He had 31 interceptions, 19 blocks, and won 18 out of 25 tackles this season. He also led the team with 104 clearances.
Off the field, Fox attended many community events, clinics, and meet and greets making a positive impact within the Tucson community.

This year's Founders Award went to Alan Villasenor. Villasenor is an Account Executive with the club and is a Tucson native. A fixture at the club's Watch Parties for away games, Villasenor has worked tirelessly to connect the club with the community, appearing at events such as the Mexican Baseball Fiesta as well as organizing FC Tucson's street team to engage in community outreach.
