FC Tucson midfielder, Joao Delgado, and defender, Maximilliano Schenfeld, have been named to the USL League One Team of the Week Presented by Cleer Audio for Week 25 of the 2021 regular season.
The club became the first team this season to win in Nebraska on Saturday, with both players holding down the defense.

In the opening minutes of the first half, Noah Franke slotted a cross on the ground for Delgado. Delgado was knocked down by a Union Omaha defender, and Schenfeld blasted the ball into the back of the next in stride. The referee waved off the advantage–and the goal–and instead awarded FC Tucson a spot kick.
Charlie Dennis converted the penalty kick. The match ended 1-0 with the club's defense keeping Omaha shut out.
Delgado was the linchpin in the middle of the pitch, winning 10 out of 14 duels, making two tackles, six recoveries, and two interceptions.
