Craig’s goal came as a result of a bobble in the FC Arizona backline in the 17th minute. She pounced on the mistake and put the Women in Black ahead with her first goal of the season.
For Duarte, it was goal No. 3 of the year. After juggling the ball, the former Mexican national team player fired a rocket into the net in the 56th to make it 2-0. Duarte has now scored in the last three FC Tucson Women’s games, having netted in the first two matches of this season and scored in the final game of the 2019 season. The Women in Black’s 2020 season was canceled by the pandemic.
