FC Tucson will wrap up its two-match road trip this Saturday when the club faces off against Forward Madison FC at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wisconsin. Kickoff is set for 4:00 pm.
On Wednesday, Tucson defeated Orlando City B 2-1 to move into fourth place in the table with 15 points. Despite remaining scoreless for a majority of the first half, midfielder Jamael Cox netted the opening goal of the match in the 43rdminute. Cox delivered a right-footed strike from 30-yards outside of the box to give the club an early 1-0 lead.
Minutes later, the lead was extended to 2-0 following a goal by defender Kyle Venter following a near-miss by Jordan Jones in the 45th minute.
Orlando City B would go on to score their lone goal of the night in the 56th minute. However, goalkeeper Carlos Merancio made two key saves to help Tucson preserve the victory.
Forward Madison FC enters Saturday’s match following a 2-1 loss to Orlando City B on Friday, June 9th. The Flamingoes will look to snap its four-match losing streak, dating back to May 18thwhen the club fell 1-0 against South Georgia Tormenta FC.
Madison currently sits last in the table with eight points.

The trip to Madison will serve as the club's second of three road matches within a 12-day span. The club will travel to Frisco, Texas on June 25th to take on North Texas SC.
