TUCSON (May 31, 2019) — FC Tucson battled to a 2-2 draw against USL League One foe, Orlando City B. Defender José Terrón scored the go-ahead goal in the 73rd minute of play.
WHAT TO KNOW

OCB was the first of the two clubs to get on the scoreboard, receiving a goal from Rafael Santos in the 44thminute.
However, it wouldn’t take long for Tucson to find the equalizer. Midfielder Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu found a prime opportunity for the tally in the 58’ minute, scoring a magnificent header off of an FCT corner.
In the 73’, a save by OCB goalkeeper Juliano Chade resulted in a corner kick for FC Tucson. Similar to Wheeler-Omiunu, defender José Terrón would score the go-ahead goal with a crisp header from the left-side of the box, giving Tucson a 2-1 lead.
Orlando City B would answer back in the 78th minute with a goal from Osei-Wusu.
With four minutes of stoppage time added, the men in black were aggressively searching for the game-winner. In the 90+4’, defender Kody Wakasa found the back of the net off of a rebound shot.
The fans at Kino North Stadium would soon be silenced as the goal was called back for offsides.
FC Tucson will be back in action on Saturday, May 8thas the club plays host to the Richmond Kickers. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm. The match will be streamed via ESPN+.
