Deri Corfe's 87th-minute goal against the Richmond Kickers on Saturday night was the 14th time in FC Tucson history in which the club have pulled out a result at Kino North Stadium in the 70th minute or later.
Corfe's goal also added to a season of late-game heroics for FC Tucson. It was the fourth time that FC Tucson managed a win or draw with a goal in the 74th minute or later in 2021. In August, Corfe also netted a goal in the 81st minute to pull out a 1-1 draw at North Texas SC.
