Program Overview

FC Tucson is excited to announce our Host Family Program for the 2025 FCT men’s summer season. Similar to hosting an exchange student, the initiative offers members of the Tucson community the opportunity to host one of the out of town FCT men’s players in their home from early May until around the end of July.Similar to hosting an exchange student, the initiative offers members of the Tucson community the opportunity to host one of the out of town FCT men’s players in their home from early May until around the end of July.

FC Tucson is committed to building a competitive team, and recruiting talented players from outside our local area is crucial to our long-term success. By participating in the player housing initiative, you can directly support our team, participate in an abbreviated exchange program, and get to know one of our players personally.

If you’re interested in opening your home to one of our players, please complete the form above. We’ll review all submissions and contact you soon to discuss further details. Below is also some additional information regarding the program.

Program Perks

  • Season tickets in reserved seating for all members at the host family house
  • VIP parking spot at FC Tucson home matches
  • Free concession food vouchers for FC Tucson home games
  • Special access to FC Tucson events (including season ticket holder party), training sessions, pre match meetings, and more
  • Signed FC Tucson jersey of player hosted
  • 25% off merchandise
  • Gift cards from select FC Tucson restaurant partners

Host Family Requirements

  • Provide housing from Early May (May 1 earliest) until the End of July (August 4 latest)
  • At a minimum, host family must be able to to provide the player with: their own room that includes a bed, sufficient storage space, an internet connection, smoke detector in or by the player’s bedroom, linens/blankets/pillows/towels, laundry facility with detergent, and a bathroom.
  • Families with more private living arrangements like an ADU, private bedroom and bathroom arrangement, and more are strongly encouraged to apply 
  • Host families are encouraged to assist with transportation and food as needed but it is not required.

Club Support

  • FC Tucson will provide ongoing support and open communication for host families throughout the entire duration of the program and USL2 season
  • FC Tucson will provide assistance with move in, move out, and any other needs.
  • We will run background checks for both the players and members of the host families.
  • We will draft a contract for all parties to sign, detailing expectations for the host family arrangement
