The brand new North Stadium at Kino Sports Complex was christened on November 15, 2013, when FC Tucson upset Major League Soccer side Chivas USA, 1-0.

The stadium, the final results of a collaborative effort from FC Tucson, Pima County and the soccer community, holds 1,800 seats and features two loges a press box and an overhang that not only blocks out the sun but it also holds in crowd noise to help enhance FC Tucson’s already rowdy crowds.

The North Stadium will be home to the MLS Preseason matches, the 2014 FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup and the 2014 FC Tucson regular season. In addition to MLS and PDL soccer, the stadium will house youth soccer tournaments all year as well as events for other fields sports like football, lacrosse and field hockey.
