FC Tucson, the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup & the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce present Pelada.
The screening will take place on February 1st at 7 p.m. at The Loft Cinema (13233 E Speedway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716-3933) and will feature special guest players from MLS Teams, Sporting Kansas City and the San Jose Earthquakes.

Pelada is a documentary about two former college soccer players who couldn’t make it to the pros but who didn’t want to stop playing the game they love.
So they went on a journey that took them through 25 different countries with the same goal in mind: play a pick up soccer game. As both players learn throughout the film, whether it’s “pick up soccer,” “taking a sweat,” “having a kick-about,” or, as the Brazilians say, “pelada,” soccer at its simplest form is completely different, yet totally the same.
