TUCSON, Arizona – FC Tucson is proud to announce  the formation of the FC Tucson Youth Alliance and the Alliance youth club members; CDO Soccer Club, Tanque Verde Soccer Club, Vail Soccer Club, and Coronado Athletic Club.

The Alliance will foster cooperation, collaboration and integration among youth soccer clubs, in order to accomplish three primary goals.

Those goals are to increase the number of children playing soccer in Southern Arizona through a range of community outreach and associated programs, enhance the youth soccer experience through common application of best practices, and progress towards a zero cost platform for promising players.

Clubs that join the alliance will work together to develop and provide an engaging and enjoyable playing environment and introduce the game to new families through programs including after-school and neighborhood clinics as well as inter-club festival play.

FC Tucson will contribute unique assets to the Alliance including, but not limited to, ‘grassroots’ program support, collaborative playing opportunities, world class facilities, well developed communication platforms, access to top American college and professional players and strong relationships with college coaches and Major League Soccer clubs.

Specific program details will be provided over the course of the next several weeks.  In the meantime, information about Alliance club members can be found at the links above.

With the inclusion of CDO, Tanque Verde, Vail, and Coronado, the Alliance begins serving over 2,700 youth players in Southern Arizona immediately.
