How did FC Tucson players fare this weekend? Check out the capsules below.

New Mexico
For the second consecutive weekend, New Mexico had a pair of games against Air Force and Denver. The results were the same. On Friday the Lobos fell to Air Force 1-0 for the second time in a week. New Mexico then bounced back to defeat Denver 2-1 on Sunday. Defender Travis Campbell started the first match and played 94 minutes. He did not play on Sunday.

Portland
The Pilots suffered two overtime losses over the weekend. On Friday Portland fell to Santa Clara 3-2. In that game midfielder Colin Anderson came off the bench and nearly netted a would-be game-winner but his shot was cleared off the line at the last moment. The Pilots then fell to Saint Mary’s 1-0 in overtime on Sunday. Anderson also came off the bench but didn’t earn a point. Fellow midfielder Thomas Iwasaki started both matches but didn’t score a point.

Sacramento State
The Hornets drew in their lone game this weekend but remained unbeaten in Big West play. Forward Max Alvarez scored Sacramento State’s lone goal off a penalty kick in the 1-1 draw with Cal Poly. Defender Matt Linenberger also started but didn’t earn a point.

San Diego
Midfielders James Cohn and Eli Galbraith-Knapp started in both of San Diego’s wins this past week: a 2-1 double overtime win on Wednesday, October 10, over Loyola Marymount and a 2-0 win over San Francisco on Sunday.

San Francisco
Goalkeeper Brendan Roslund recorded his third shut out of the season in a 2-0 win over Loyola Marymount on Friday night. Roslund record three saves. The Dons then fell to San Diego on Sunday, 2-0. Roslund made four saves on the evening. Two of them came immediately following a penalty kick.

Santa Clara
The Broncos moved into first place in the West Coast conference thanks to two wins over the weekend. Santa Clara dropped Portland 3-2 on the road, in overtime on Friday and then traveled to Gonzaga where they blanked the Bulldogs 1-0. Forward Carlos Montes started in both matched but didn’t get a point.

UNLV
UNLV won back-to-back road league games for the first time since 2003 over the weekend. On Friday night the Rebels beat Seattle 2-1. Then on Sunday UNLV scored three goals late to down San Jose State 3-2. Forward Nick Marshall didn’t see any action on Friday but he did come off the bench on Sunday and record four shots.

Cal State San Bernardino
Forward Ricardo Velasco played in both of the Coyotes matches over the weekend but didn’t score a point. Cal State San Bernardino lost to Cal State Dominguez Hills 1-0 on Friday. The Coyotes then drew with Cal State Los Angeles 1-1 on Sunday.
